Historical developments in paternalistic leadership in China

چکیده

This article critically reviews the historical development in literature that provided basis for establishment of Chinese version paternalistic leadership, most popular, well researched and better established indigenous theory leadership. centres on earlier theoretical conceptual developments to establish how current conceptualisations leadership originated. Furthermore, suggestions further research avenues are presented scholars address advance knowledge field a cultural environment; arguably, main limitation paternalist is it does not account roles women positions.
